Japanese hairpin
An expert from Fukuoka (Japan) Sakae (Sakae) makes magic pins and studs "Kanzashi" (also found on the network called "kanzashi" from Yap. Kanzashi) in the form of flowers and butterflies, but does not say how :)

Someone says Sakae uses lacquer, someone - glass, and some of the other practicing artists prepolagaet what looks like an epoxy resin, colored and flooded into the loop of wire.
