Young pine cones in different climatic zones are collected at different times. In Ukraine, it's the middle of May - beginning of June, in central Russia - June 21-25. Jam can be cooked from the pine cones that are easy to cut with a knife or a nail punctured. To collect the appropriate knobs have reached 1-4 cm in length.
