Young pine cones in different climatic zones are collected at different times. In Ukraine, it's the middle of May - beginning of June, in central Russia - June 21-25. Jam can be cooked out of the pine cones that are easy to cut with a knife or nail pierced. To collect suitable knobs have reached 1-4 cm in length.

"Sunny" jam. Washed cones cut into pieces, boned in sugar. Banks cover with a clean cloth or gauze, put in a sunny warm place and shaken from time to time to the sugar is completely dissolved and the syrup is formed.
