Strong arctic frost in the US
In the United States after New Year's record snowfall came anomalous frosts.
Arctic cold forged 37 US states. The most affected Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan and Missouri, where the fourth day, the thermometer shows a record low. The most severe frosts recorded in Duluth, Minnesota. Here, the temperature dropped to 48 degrees below zero. Due to bad weather were canceled thousands of flights, limited traffic on the highways, suspended the operation of schools and administrative buildings.
