Magnificent miniature park
Not so long ago in Lviv in the Palace of Potocki appeared very interesting attraction - the miniature park of various castles and defensive structures of Kievan Rus. It's kind of a tribute to both existing castles, churches and temples and pushed into oblivion old buildings. I recommend a visit!
The first is a miniature High Castle in Lviv. This castle was on the same hill, and it is believed that since the days of the castle begins the story of the city. First fortifications were wooden, but during the reign of Polish castle became a stone.
Front of the castle stands another tower. To be honest, I did not understand, it refers to the High Castle or standing alone.
Now the once great castle in Lviv, leaving only a small fragment of the wall.
Defensive tower in Kamyantse. Now it is the territory of Belarus.
Old Polish church in Posada Rybototskoy
Olesko Castle. One of the oldest buildings in the Western Ukraine. Red umbrella in the background like to break. Its bright color, he made a very strong disharmony not only in photo but also in the autumn slightly rainy day.
Templar Castle, situated in the Carpathian region. Built in XIII - XVII centuries.
This tower remains unidentified.
Defensive church in the village Sutkivtsi, Khmelnitsky region. Built in XV - XVIII centuries.
The church in the village cemetery was, Ternopil region. Built in the XVII - XVIII centuries.
The biggest layout dedicated Ostrog castle in Rivne region. The complex was built in the XIV century and has long been the residence of the princes of Ostrog.
On the grounds of the castle is the Epiphany Church, built in the XV - XVI century. She also was part of the defensive structures.
The thickness of the walls of the castle comes some three meters.
And finally, two more unidentified structures.
The park is interesting, but its location is a bit unfortunate, there are many houses around with not a very nice view.
