Eyes Nick Jolie

British artist Nick Jolie (Nic Joly) creates small worlds using action figures.





He makes their own wire, clay, paper and paints. The artist tries to show all aspects of human life. Jolie says that it is not necessary to use large-scale productions. His passion - is to create small sculptures transferred from real life.







In his series «Under foot» («Under your feet"), he tried to portray the daily life of people the size of a centimeter. Work on it, he began in 2005 and continues to this day. The author himself has repeatedly noticed that he often had to feel this here little man.











While many of us do not attach particular importance to the small details of his life, such as notation parents, neighbors gossip, smoking, work, rest, for the artist, they are important. That is what he shows in a sculptural form.











His work is popular with many connoisseurs of sculpture. They are often bought for private collections.











Currently Nick Jolie is working on a new series to be presented at an exhibition of his work in London early next year.
