Motohiko Odani

Japanese sculptor Motohiko Odan (Motohiko Odani) was born in 1972 in Kyoto, he studied at the Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Music. His unique style has won recognition both in Japan and abroad, in 2003 Motohiko Odan represented Japan at the Venice Biennale. Since then, the sculptor was the winner of several prestigious competitions, are exhibited in more than 30 group exhibitions and 10 personal. His works draw their uniqueness and beauty.

In his desire to convey the effect of motion in his art sculpture echoes the works of Italian futurism in the first place - with Umberto Boccioni (Umberto Boccioni, 1882-1916).
