Hôtel de Glace - a unique ice hotel, located ten minutes from the Canadian city of Quebec. This year marks its 13th anniversary.





Every year since 2001, the ice hotel rebuild by changing the theme and design. Hôtel de Glace - one of a kind unique hotel in North America. Its construction takes about 15 tons of snow and more than 500 tons of ice. Total area - 3 thousand sq. M. meters.





In the past, the hotel surprised wondrous icy architecture with intricately carved, inspired by nature. In the same year, the authors were inspired by Jules Verne and his "Journey to the Center of the Earth", paying attention to the beauty of the winter season.





Previously, the hotel consisted of thirty-six rooms, but because of the large number of visitors and tourists wishing to spend the night in a magical hotel, as well as to conduct a wedding ceremony in a no less impressive an ice chapel, the number of hotel rooms increased to forty-four. Each one is individually decorated.







All the furniture in the hotel made entirely of ice. On an icy skeleton lay a wooden base, and only then a mattress and sleeping bags. Those wishing to stay overnight should still dress warmly, since the temperature in the ice hotel is less than 5 C, while in the rooms and fireplaces for heating. There is also a sauna and an outdoor Jacuzzi, and a warming drink in the bar cocktail.



Hôtel de Glace is ready to welcome visitors each year from 6 January to 24 March.
