"Dzhembatan Akar" - a unique bridge from tree roots postroelo Indian tribe Khasi
He is vital for the people of the two tiny villages in West Sumatra, Indonesia. The bridge was built as a result of interlacing roots of two trees over a hundred years ago, placed on both sides of the river Bayang. Growing and increasingly intertwined roots, provided the residents of the two villages of strong and reliable rapid crossing of the river.





This bridge was built about 26 let.Protsess creating a bridge begins to pull the roots of trees and sending them to the opposite shore. Then they become stronger and grow over time, becoming a bridge. After 25-30 years they become strong enough that people could use such a bridge.
