Laurie Lipton
Laurie Lipton - the modern American artist. She was born in New York and began drawing at the age of 4 years. All that she uses for work - coal, a pencil and paper. Laurie Lipton graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pennsylvania class art. She was the first student, she graduated with honors. The artist lived in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, and in 1986 moved to London and lives there to this day. She recently won a drawing contest among 4,000 other applicants submitted in the gallery Saatchi Gallery.
