According to unconfirmed reports, about one million people greeted the New Year 2011 in Times Square.
This year, New York became the center really Christmas-New Year rush. New Year's celebration and New offensive of 2011 was accompanied by a performance of the popular leaders, masters of stand-up and just musicians who performed in front of the eighth part of the inhabitants of this metropolis.
The main stars of the show, of course, were the singer Ke $ ha (Kesha).
"Oldies" who decided to sing together on the same stage - «New Kid's On The Block» and «Backstreet Boys».
But the main event, which was expected by all - it's the new year and the symbolic descent of the huge crystal ball.
As soon as the ball has reached its lowest point, the sky "Big Apple» (The Big Apple) lit up by thousands of fireworks, fireworks and optical scale installations.
In Times Square, all those present came under a rain of confetti.
