Chinese forbidden to broadcast the Olympics on the Internet
The Chinese government has banned Internet service providers and mobile operators to broadcast events of the Summer Olympics in Beijing without a special permit.
The prohibition applies to both the competition and the closing ceremony of the Olympics and, as well as the lighting of the Olympic flame.
Exclusive rights to broadcast the Olympics was China's state broadcaster China Central Television. All organizations are also willing to live broadcasts of events and ceremonies of the Olympics, must obtain permission from the owner of an exclusive.
Representatives of the Chinese government stressed that all companies are seen in the illegal broadcast of the Olympic Games, will be punished in accordance with Chinese law.
It also reported that the Chinese authorities during the Olympics will be hard to observe the various media resources, and reserve the right to block any of them for illegal broadcast of the Olympic Games.
