In Menton, the perfect climate for growing lemons, so this small town wedged between Monaco and Italy volunteered to be the capital of lemons. To celebrate this happy coincidence of geography, Menton annually crazy about lemon in February. Tam hosts the annual Lemon Festival.
Residents of the town for three weeks immersed in the fairy-tale world - all painted in bright yellow-orange color, houses and streets are decorated with all kinds of songs and sculptures, installations of lemons and oranges, the lights of fireworks, and walk around the city tens of folk music groups performing French folk melodies.
