In August 2005, the infamous Hurricane Catarina swept through the territory of the State of Louisiana and caused severe destruction in the state capital - the city of New Orleans. Since then, it took five long years. During this time many houses were demolished, and the city has returned to normal. Though it can be called normal only partly because it was in New Orleans had the highest crime rate in the United States.
