Why, was that possible? How a phrase can rewrite your reality

There are phrases in life that sound like a sentence. "I can't" is one of them. This short construction flashes so often in our speech that we cease to notice its power. Or rather, its destructive power.
Change the phrase “I can’t” to “I don’t know how” and you’ll be surprised how things around you start to change.
Psychological undermining of their own beliefs
When we say, “I can’t,” it’s like we’re setting a point. Okay. Dead end. Then there's the void. This phrase does not imply development. It's like a concrete wall that you've put yourself in and you're sitting there looking at the cracks.
Now say, "I don't know how to do that." You hear me? It's not a sentence anymore. It's a question. If you have a question, you can find the answer. And you're out of mode. "victim of circumstances" mode "explorer".

How does this trick work in life?
Scenario 1: Creativity
You say, "I can't paint." Really? Don't you have arms? Then say, "I don't know how to paint in a way that I like." That's the way. This is the beginning of the movement. Next is the matter of technique, courses, repetitions, inspiration.
Scenario 2: Career
You want to change jobs, but you're afraid. "I can't leave, I'm scared." Replace: "I don't know how to safely leave my current job and not be left without income." And start looking for options. Financial cushion, freelancing, resume, interviews. Now you're not in fear, you're in strategy.
Scenario 3: Relationships
You can't talk to someone close to you. Change: "I don't know how to say it so as not to offend." This opens up millions of scenarios, all the way to engaging a psychologist or studying NLP.

Specific life hacks
- Keep a journal of phrases where write down everything “can’t”. Then reformulate them into "I don't know how." Make it a game.
- Use the question: “Who knows how?” and find such people. YouTube, Stack Overflow, Reddit, TED -- the planet is full of geniuses.
- For each “I don’t know how” – set a specific task: “Find three ways”, “Read one article”, “Ask a question to an expert”.
- Track emotions: the phrase “I can’t” causes depression, and “I don’t know how” – curiosity and drive. That's the key.
Why does it work? (a little bit of science)
Our brains are wired to either see an obstacle or an opportunity. When you say “I can’t,” the amygdala, the part of the brain responsible for fear, is activated. But when you say "I don't know how," it comes into play. prefrontal Center of logic, strategy, learning. And this is confirmed by research in neuropsychology (Wikipedia: Prefrontal cortex).
Conclusion
Changing your mindset is scary. But it's just scary. Because now the responsibility is on you. You're no longer a prisoner. You're in.
So I can't do any more. Only honest: “I don’t know how. But I will find a way.
This is where all true growth begins. Everything else is a ceiling illusion.
