At night, the enemy again launched a massive missile strike on Ukraine, the number of victims is growing, but it could be us.

This night Ukraine experienced another rocketry. The enemy continues to act according to his already established scheme. He attacks peaceful cities and kills their innocent inhabitants. And I must say that he does it mean while people sleep. It hurts to talk about it, but some of them will never wake up again.

Instagram / @zelenskiy_official Missile firing Around 4am on April 28, 2023, Russia launched a massive missile strike on Ukraine. This has not happened in over 50 days. There are destructions and casualties in Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk and Kiev regions. At the moment, it is known about 12 dead, but the analysis of rubble continues.

Instagram / @zelenskiy_official According to information provided by the commander-in-chief of ZSU Valery Zaluzhny, out of 23 cruise missiles Kh-101/X-555 air defense forces destroyed 21 missiles. Only one Kiev shot down 11 cruise missiles and 2 drones. The wreckage of one of them damaged the road surface in the Obolonsky district. But that's not the worst thing that happened last night.

The real tragedy occurred in the Ukrainian city of Uman. As a result of the missile strike, 10 multi-storey residential buildings were damaged. In one of them, an entire entrance was completely destroyed. 17 people were taken out of the rubble, 10 of them died, including one child. It is not known how many people are under the ruins of their own apartments. Rescuers continue to clear the rubble.

Instagram / @zelenskiy_official The photo shows how badly the building has been destroyed. After the rockets hit, the house was engulfed in flames. According to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko, 109 people lived in the destroyed entrance. For Uman, such a rocket attack during a full-scale war happened for the first time. The last time rockets flew to this city in the spring of 2022.

Air defense forces shot down 7 cruise missiles over the Dnipropetrovsk region. However, it was not possible to avoid hits. Local authorities say the missile hit the private sector. A 31-year-old woman and a two-year-old girl were killed. Three people were injured, two of them are now in hospital.

In the Dnieper itself, the missile hit a private enterprise. There was a fire, but it was successfully eliminated. Fortunately, there were no casualties. But it also hit a construction base where the fire covered an area of 400 square meters. Rescuers were able to extinguish the fire. A 70-year-old woman was injured.

Instagram / @zelenskiy_official Loud sounds of explosions were also heard in Kiev. The capital itself remained safe due to air defense, but the hit of fragments of missiles was in the town of Ukrainka, which is located in the region. A 13-year-old girl was injured. The child was taken to a private clinic Okhmatdit, and the fire in the house was quickly eliminated.

Also, do not forget that Russian troops regularly shell the Kherson region and the city. Over the past day, they fired 356 shells from heavy artillery, UAVs and aircraft. Residential quarters of Kherson shelled 6 times. Two people were killed and three others were injured.

Instagram / @zelenskiy_official Russia continues to shell the border territory of the Kharkiv region. Several private and one two-storey apartment building were damaged. Mine danger is also high: in the village of Tokarevka, a 54-year-old driver of Kharkovoblenergo died from a mine when he was restoring power lines. Four workers were injured, one of them in serious condition, others in a state of moderate severity.

Today, all social networks look the same: people share photos of destroyed houses and write about civilian casualties. Ukrainians mourn and say that literally every one of them could have been in the place of the victims.

Russia doesn’t care which house its missile hits. No matter how many innocent Ukrainians die as a result of such shelling, Russians will never be enough. I’m not exaggerating when I talk about these things. Just go to the comments under the publications about what happened and see what people with a “broad Russian soul” write.

We must not forget that there is a full-scale war in Ukraine. And do not think that in any of the Ukrainian cities people feel completely safe. This is simply impossible, because literally at any moment a terrorist country can fire a dozen or even more missiles at civilians.

Yesterday, people from Uman and Dnipro were alive, planning how to spend the weekend. Perhaps someone was going to visit relatives or just get out in nature. But it's not meant to happen. And all because Russia continues to play God and decide human destinies. Is that fair?
