Homemade cheese from milk and sour cream Ingredients
  • 450g fatty sour cream
  • 170 ml of fatty milk
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice


Preparation
  1. Take a small aluminum pan and put sour cream in it, and also pour the milk. Then put the pan on the stove and turn on the medium fire.





  2. Stir the milk mixture from time to time, waiting until it is close to boiling. When small bubbles appear in the mixture, add lemon juice to it and mix everything thoroughly. Then turn down the fire and warm up the milk mixture for 6 minutes, stirring constantly.





  3. Cover the pan with a lid, take it off the stove and leave it to stand for half an hour. Gradually, as the milk mass cools, small grains will begin to form in it.

    When the mixture is completely cooled and takes the form of thick semolina porridge, cast it on a sieve covered with gauze, previously folded in six layers.





    In the end, it remains only to leave the cheese mass overnight, and in the morning squeeze and shift it into a clean bowl.
