A woman working as a cleaner in France, said that waiting for those who decided to go to work in this country

Any work deserves respect. Even if it is a job abroad in a less prestigious position. It so happened that for Julia, the only alternative to a promising life was to work in France. Of course, I should have thanked fate for the fact that in general managed to fly to Europe at the present time, but the work went to her far from the most intellectual. Namely, cleaning. So what is it like to be a maintenance staff in a land of baguettes, berets and romantic stories? Julia has a couple of examples.

Work in France One of the first houses where Julia had to work just a couple of months, in charge of a very powerful hostess. And because she didn't work, and she spent all her time at home or in the store, Yulia's every action was viewed under a microscope. If the vase after wiping from dust was turned on the wrong side, this was already a cause for claim. If the pillow is not sufficiently whipped - reprimand. There was not a single day when Julia felt calm. As a newcomer, she felt vulnerable and feared for her place.

But the persistence of the hostess to control everything resulted in the decisive departure of a conscientious cleaner. “If the hostess has so many complaints about my work, let her look for someone who will satisfy her completely,” Julia decided and went to look for ads on the Internet.

Both the cleaner and the waitress once Julia got a job in the cafeteria. Her duties included not only cleaning, but also the work of a waitress and sometimes a cashier. The employer explained that in the cafeteria at rush hour, too many people and employees simply do not have time to serve all customers. There is nothing wrong with having a cleaner help from time to time.

At first, Julia agreed, naively believing that such cases would be rare. But the reality was not merciful. Every day 2 times the cafeteria was crowded with people, and Julia had to serve them, bring coffee with croissants to the table, and then clean those tables. Of course, the extra time and effort spent did not affect the salary. Therefore, after 3 months, Julia told the cash register “revoir” and went elsewhere.

In some establishments where the services of a whole team of cleaners are required at once, there is a rule of mutual assistance. Julia was lucky to witness the operation of such a system. In the private school where she got a contract, there was a fairly large team, where the work was evenly distributed among the cleaners. If at the end of the day someone did not have time for his part of the work, the rest had to come to his aid.

Such a positive initiative in practice turned out to be an excellent way out of the situation of any lazy people or just bad employees. The first month Julia helped. But it soon became clear that the same people needed help. They weren't going to fix it. Therefore, Julia chose to become an outcast and began to work only for her result.

Even though the post of cleaner is not so honorable, but she is needed everywhere. Someone has to clean up anywhere, no matter what country you come from.

Life Wisdom: What does this story teach us? Working in France may be different than working elsewhere. However, as practice shows, people are the same everywhere. Someone may be too demanding, another unscrupulous, and the third does not have respect for the work of others. In such situations, the main thing is to remember that you can always find another job. Even in another country.
