A year ago, I was able to visit Athens and the island of Corfu - since then my love for everything Greek is boundless. I was especially fascinated by the cuisine, and not the usual and well-known dishes in the form of Greek salad or moussaki, but what you usually do not find in our local cafes.

Preparation
  1. Wash your onions and carrots and peel them. Cut the onions in large cubes, carrots in circles or sodium on grater. Adjust the amount of carrots to your taste. I usually take one big one.



  2. Roast onions and carrots in vegetable oil on a medium heat.



  3. Wash the head of cabbage under running water. On the cutting board, cut it into several parts so that it is convenient to cut. With a sharp knife, insert the cabbage, and then add it to the pan to the carrots with onions.



  4. Pour a glass of water into the pan, cover the dish with a lid and mascara for 15 minutes. During stewing, mix vegetables periodically.



  5. Wash the rice thoroughly to clear water. Add to the vegetables washed rice, tomato paste and half a glass of water. Stir it up carefully. Carcass dish on average heat 20-25 minutes until ready. The stewing time may depend on the variety of rice.





  6. 5 minutes before preparation, add salt and spices to the dish. As spices, you can use black pepper (pea), ground coriander and chili peppers. With the latter you need to be careful, as not all household members may like its sharpness. Also before serving the dish can be sprinkled with parsley greens.
