Soon people began to come to her from everywhere. The girl healed the sick, raised the hopeless and helped everyone. She didn't ask for a fee, but people left something as a gift anyway. So instead of a burden, she became the main breadwinner in the family.

Blindness was not the only test of Matrona. At the age of 17, the girl lost the ability to walk, her legs suddenly took off. For the rest of her life, she never got back on her feet. However, she accepted her illness humbly, accepting it as part of God’s gift.





After moving to Moscow in 1925, she became a homeless stranger. During this period of her ascetic life, she did what good people gave her. I had to live with different people, even those who were hostile to her. But, despite all the difficulties, Matrona did not abandon her craft, she still helped everyone.

On the day Matrona received up to forty people. She did not refuse anyone, listened to everyone and tried to comfort, heal, help. Matrona predicted her demise and made all the necessary orders before that. The saint died on May 2, and a burial took place on May 4. Many people came to the funeral, all grateful believers wanted to say goodbye to their mother. The funeral and burial of the blessed woman was the beginning of her glorification among the people as a saint of God.
