What great evil did St. Matrona warn about in her prophecies and whether the world is really facing it now?

Holy Matrona of Moscow She was born in a peasant family in the 80s of the 19th century (exact date unknown). She was completely blind from birth, so her parents wanted to take her to a shelter. However, they did not, as the girl’s mother had an unusual dream. In it she saw the incredible beauty of a white blind bird that sat on her chest. My mother believed that this dream was a dream.

Very soon, Matrona’s parents were convinced of this. At the age of 8, the girl began to show incredible abilities. She healed sick people and predicted the future. What exactly did St. Matrona of Moscow predict and what she taught people, read further in the article.

Although Matrona was an ordinary peasant woman, she managed to travel a lot. The daughter of one of the local landowners took the girl with her on pilgrimages. She has visited many holy places. For example, in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra and the Trinity-Sergius Lavra.

When Matrona was 17 years old, she stopped walking - her legs were taken away. It happened suddenly, but the girl knew what fate awaited her. She predicted meeting a woman who would take away her ability to walk. That's what happened. Matrona did not oppose this, although she could avoid a bitter fate. In her opinion, God’s will is not to escape or hide.

Even as a child, Matrona predicted the collapse of the Russian Empire. One day, she asked her mother to give her a bunch of chicken feathers. The girl found among them the largest and most elegant, and then completely stripped it, saying: "The same will happen to our king." St. Matrona of Moscow foresaw looting, the destruction of churches, and the many years of land division. All this happened when the Bolsheviks came to power.

In the early 20th century, a visionary predicted that faith in God would lose its power. People will simply cease to believe in it, and in return a completely different teaching will settle in their minds. Matrona believed that everyone would be under hypnosis, and life would only get worse and worse. Atheism really flourished in the new Russia, and those who did not obey were persecuted. Judge the rest of the list yourself.

The beginning of the Second World War, the saint also foresaw. She knew that many people would lay down their souls and bodies for their freedom. But the people will stand and win. After the victory, Matrona made another not very consoling forecast: “Power in the USSR will change, but each new ruler will be worse than the previous one.” I wonder if you agree with that statement?

About whether there will be a third world war, Matrona Moscow directly said. However, she often mentioned that the turning point in people’s lives will occur in the 21st century. The seer also spoke of a great evil and a secret enemy that could do much harm to the world. Any idea who it might be?

What the seer Matrona taught people that condemnation is harmful. Instead of judging someone, it’s better to think about yourself. The seer did not recognize witch doctors or sorcerers, because they worked with the power of evil. My mother believed that people who lost faith in God would lose themselves.

“The enemy sits on our left shoulder, and on our right – an angel, and each has its own book: one records our sins, the other – good deeds,” said Matrona. Mother believed that the saved one who will be able to retain the morality and true spirituality that can pass on to his heirs.

The Matrona of Moscow died in 1952. She was canonized 47 years later in 1999. However, this is not surprising, because in Soviet times the seer simply could not be canonized. March 8 became an Orthodox holiday - this is the day of finding the relics of Matrona. Now they are in a silver tomb in the Pokrovsky temple.
