But today we offer you a special recipe. So to speak, salo-assorti. With three different flavors and colors. For its preparation, you can take lard from the nearest market or from the supermarket. You don't have to look for that piece of meat streak. Even the most ordinary will do. But the taste will please with its originality, we guarantee!

How to make lard ingredients
  • 1 kg of lard
  • 4-5 teeth. Garlic
  • 100g dill
  • 2 tbsp paprika + 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
  • salt


Preparation
  1. First you need to grind the fat with a meat grinder. If it is old, it is better to cut off the hard skin. With a young piece of soft skin from lard, too, safely let in. The resulting "farsh" was divided into 3 parts, salt and mix. Divide it into 3 equal parts.


  2. Mix each part of the ground lard with its own type of seasoning. Use garlic for the first. Second diluted with paprika and cayenne pepper. By the way, we recommend taking smoked paprika. It is more expensive, but it has its own unique aroma. And for the third part, use crushed dill twigs. They also have their own taste and will give their color to the snack.


  3. Place each layer of lard in a plastic container. If you can, cover it. Otherwise, the usual food film will work. The resulting cake is sent to the freezer for about half an hour.


  4. Get the lard and cut it into portion pieces. Each of them should be tricolored. Then proceed according to the task. You can store the snack in the refrigerator on the top shelf. The temperature is the highest and it will not melt. If the dish needs to be served to the table, it is best to immediately make sandwiches with fresh black bread. Add a young onion, butter or tomato. Great snack for all time!




Some cooks also like to sprinkle lard with pepper and favorite herbs before cutting. Well, it's not a bad idea, but for our taste, too many seasonings is too much. It is more interesting to feel each layer of snack and choose the most suitable for yourself.
