Charging of welding

Researchers from India have developed a flexible and compact energy storage for portable electronics that uses green tea polyphenols. Results published in the Journal of Physical Chemistry.

Wearable electronics are reliable with a long service life remains a challenge. Supercapacitors of different types to meet the power requirements and can be rapidly charged. But most of the supercapacitors remain hard. Wearable electronics – smart watch sports wristbands can become a lot more popular in combination with a charging device of soft materials made partly with the use of unexpected ingredient: green tea

Researchers from India have created a polymer gel based on extract of green tea. Tea polyphenols have turned the solution of silver nitrate in the film of silver nanoparticles. It is coated with a thin layer of gold and plastic monomer 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene.

The obtained supercapacitor showed a high power density 2715 watt and 22 watt-hours per kilogram, which is enough to operate the heart rate monitor, LEDs, or module Bluetooth. Researchers have tested its durability and found that it works well even after compression its more than 100 times. published
