Dubno castle





Dubno castle is situated on a promontory by the river Ikva in the district center of Dubno of Rivne region. Now called the state historical and cultural reserve of the city Dubno. The castle was built on the site of ancient fortifications in 1492, Konstantin Ivanovich Ostrozhsky. It consisted of wooden Palisades on earthen ramparts, which on the inside was wooden houses.
