Innovations in lighting operating

The concept of APOLLO from the company Entwurfreich is a modular lighting system that provides flexible lighting in the operating room through the use of laser technology. Using laser light increases the illumination efficiency, providing from 170 LM/watt compared to 100 lumens/watt, LEDs, and allows for more compact placement.

Built-in sensors adapt to any situation by changing the direction of light and Autonomous brightness control depending on the change of the location of the surgery, allowing the latter to focus on the task without distraction.
However, it is not clear what this invention is innovative. That are not used by LEDs, and laser light? But actually there is a big difference, because now the LEDs can give the efficiency of 150 LM/watt, so the APOLLO designers is a bit behind the times.

Apparently also nothing special about these lamps is not present, almost exactly repeating the design of standard operating lamps. It's not just because it has long developed a system of lighting used in operating rooms of hospitals around the world, and all are far arranged. However, of course, you need to wait for the realization of the concept for more detailed perceptions of the benefits of this device. Or at least a more detailed overview of the functional features of this lighting system.
