Scientists at the University of Guelph was able to prove that drinking coffee after eating fatty foods and fast food increases the blood sugar levels to the boundary level.
Nutritionists all over the world know that eating foods that are rich in fats, provokes a rise in blood sugar levels. The body is doing to process huge amounts of incoming fats, as fat loss is involved with the insulin. While studies have shown that coffee enhances the negative effect of fats on blood vessels twice.
Dr. Marie-Soleil Beaudoin said:
We were treated to a group of volunteers fatty drink and six hours invited to eat, drinking sweet water. After meals the pancreas began to produce insulin in order to have the processing of sugar into glucose and turn it into fuel for the brain and muscles.
Next, participants were asked to drink two to three cups of coffee after 5 hours after eating fatty and sweet. Measurements of glucose showed that the sugar level was 65% higher than in the control group.
The result: you need to refrain from to wash down fatty and sugary foods, coffee.
