Green coffee beans protect against diabetes

American chemical green coffee beans found some substances from the class of chlorogenic acids which can reduce, to a certain extent glucose and other types of sugars in the blood of people with diabetes. New information was presented at the annual meeting of the American chemical society in New Orleans.

Joe Vinson (Joe Vinson), together with his comrades ran into a lot of research, the authors noticed that coffee lovers suffer from the effects of diabetes less than other people. Thus, in one of these research works was told that the risk of developing diabetes by 50% reduced 1-2 cups of coffee a day. Scientists interested in this fact, deciding to study the chemical composition of coffee to uncover the secret of the beneficial effects of the drink.

The concentration of glucose in the blood, as it turned out, had fallen under the influence of chlorogenic acids which can often be found in fruits and vegetables. In the drink the quantity of these acids only slightly, because most of their molecules when roasting the coffee beans breaks down. Vinson and his colleagues then suggested that the extract from green coffee beans on the body of diabetics will be much stronger.
