Military robots will protect the rule of law on the world Cup 2014 in Brazil
Even people who are not ardent football fans, know that agressia and hooliganism can dramatically transform an ordinary football match in a battlefield full of clutter, of injuries inflicted by various objects, and even death. To ensure compliance with the rules of law on the world Cup, which will be held in 2014 in Brazil, members of FIFA have decided to bring this case high technology, "recruiting" as the security personnel of military robots.
Well-known American robotics company iRobot recently announced that is preparing to send 30 PackBot robots to Brazil, the robots that are successfully used by the military for operations in Afghanistan, Iraq and in the aftermath of the accident at the Japanese Fukushima nuclear power plant.
Each of the 510 PackBot robots equipped with manipulator and camera. Control of the robot is remotely controlled and allows the operator while in a safe place, to explore and examine suspicious objects that may be opsnye for people. During the championship, the PackBot robots will cooperate together with thousands of police and soldiers who will be patrolling the 12 Brazilian cities which will host matches of the championship.
