Twitter to appear in phones without Internet

U2pia Mobile uses the USSD Protocol to transmit data. This Protocol is supported by all GSM phones, it is used, for example, when you request the balance of the room. USSD works only with texts but a single message can contain up to 182 characters.
In the case of Twitter, users can enter in the phone specific code and get through USSD tape frequently requested from the service. Sumesh Menon promises that the data will change depending on the region in which the user is currently.

U2pia Mobile will work with Twitter in the first quarter of 2014. The company is present in 30 countries and provides access to 11 million of its users access Facebook and Goоgle Talk.
Says Sumesh Menon, in developing countries 8 out of 10 phones still are not able to connect to the Internet. Successful it company will work in Africa.

U2pia Mobile — first to work with social networking via USSD. Indian operator TATA Dоcomo back in 2011 offered the opportunity to read and publish posts to Facebook and Twitter from your phone without connecting to the Internet.
