In Japan will use AI to control plants

The Japanese company together with the Indian holding company of the Tata Group develop based on artificial intelligence system for more effective management of the coal thermal power plants. The new system involves the use of artificial intelligence to coordinate the work of each of the plants: for example, AI will be able to install the necessary for each type of coal temperature, thereby increasing the efficiency of energy production and reducing harmful emissions into the atmosphere.

Coal has many varieties, for example brown coal, which is hard to burn because of its high moisture content, or asphalt, which burns much better. In addition, each power station is equipped with many various elements of steam turbines, generators and boilers. Their work will be to map and regulate an artificial intelligence.

On the project are working together Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, representatives of two Japanese energy companies as well as Tata Consultancy Services, the Central unit of India's Tata Group. The first tests of the technology are already on one of the coal-fired power plants in Southeast Asia.

At that time, as Japan increases the efficiency of coal energy, many countries prefer to completely abandon the use of coal. So, about the decision to close all coal plants previously announced by the Netherlands, UK and France.

P. S. And remember, only by changing their consumption — together we change the world! ©
