Japanese fishermen began a brutal hunt of dolphins
In the Japanese village of Taiji to the West of the country was opened to hunting dolphins.
It's not just out of the ordinary event. It's a tradition against which, as against whaling, are the activists — the defenders of wildlife.
Naturally, hunters who kill dozens of these friendly mammals, to defend their right to this tradition.
Activists say a massacre like this year, they have not seen for 4 years at least — but the hunting season for dolphins open every year.
Fishermen caught in their nets is not less than 250 dolphins. Some of them left alive to sell to aquariums and other customers. Was abandoned and a rare baby albino and his mother. At least 40 dolphins killed.
