Eco-friendly villa in Hawaii

California architectural firm Belzberg Architects has built a residential house in Hawaii, on a chilled lava plot. The front part of the building faces the west and has a magnificent view of the ocean, and on the other, the east side, offers a panoramic view of the high volcanic ridges. The house is equipped with a series of energy-saving and environmentally friendly components, including solar panels and a rainwater collection system, which ensure a high level of energy efficiency. It is also worth noting that the thermal properties of fossilized lava at the base of the building allow it to heat the pool and interior rooms.
