A recent study shows that children who help prepare meals you can eat more vegetables than those not involved in cooking.
In a study conducted by Nestlé Research center was attended by forty-seven parents, accompanied by their son or daughter at the age of 6-10 years. They were asked to prepare meals from various elements, including breaded chicken, salad, cauliflower and pasta. Half of the children in the experiment were involved in the cooking process and helped their parents, while other children were playing when their mother or father was cooking alone food.
The researchers found that the children who cooked with their parents, ate 76% more salad and 27% more chicken. The study also found that the preparation given to children to feel positive emotions and pride.
