Archaeologists have discovered the earliest image of Jesus
Experts from the University of Barcelona found in the Egyptian of the sixth century cave paintings, which, according to them, portrays Jesus.
A mysterious underground room in the ancient city of Oxyrhynchus refers to the period of the sixth or seventh century. On the wall shows the image of a man with curly hair. Spanish experts believe that this place was intended for burial of priests and spiritual teachers of antiquity. Dr. Pedro described as ancient discovery: "a young man with curly hair with a raised blessing hand, dressed in a short tunic. We are dealing with a very early image of Christ."
Now archaeologists are working to decipher the inscriptions on the walls surrounding the iconic figure. The area of the underground tomb is about 8 meters in length and four in width.
