Scientists have not confirmed the link between autism and vaccination

A statistical international review conducted by researchers at the University of Sydney found no evidence of a link between childhood autism and vaccination.

The first systematic international review involved more than 1,250,000 children, five group studies and another 9,920, five case-controlled studies. The results of both observations showed that there was no statistical evidence to support a link between commonly used vaccines for measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough and the development of autism or autism spectrum disorders.

Professor Guy Ifk said: The data consistently show no evidence of a link between autism, autism spectrum disorders and childhood vaccinations, regardless of whether there was intervention through combined vaccines (MMR) or one of the components. The results do not provide any reason to avoid immunization for these reasons.”
