Scientists Smoking cannabis leads to insomnia
Scientists at the University of Pennsylvania found that Smoking cannabis in adolescence, contributes to insomnia in later years.

American researchers evaluated a group of adults, aged 20-59 years. The total number of participants in the study amounted to 1811 people. The experts analyzed the age at which people first tried marijuana and consumption of the drug in recent years. It turned out that the people who started to use the herbal drug to 15 years of age, have experienced problems with sleep.
Researcher Giles Chheda says, "marijuana users in the past and present have problems with sleep. The most surprising discovery was that there is a close relationship with age of first use of marijuana, regardless of how often people are using this drug". The researchers also concluded that those who start using the drug early, you may experience trouble sleeping for other reasons, due to stress, for example.
