One of the oldest animals on the planet is a 250-pound male giant turtle named Advaita, who lived in the Calcutta zoo. Advaita was a pet of Robert Clive, several years lived on the territory of his mansion. About 130 years ago, Advaita was transferred to the Calcutta Zoo, where he died at the age of 256 in 2006.
