8 reasons to travel alone
Just you and the whole world. When it comes to traveling to another city or country, the last thing that comes to mind is the trip alone. Relax in the company with someone seems so much more fun and interesting, even if it's just friends or companions. However, single travel has its advantages.
1. You don't need to compromise. When traveling alone, you do not need to be torn between their desires and the desires of the companions. Go to the best exhibitions? To sit all night in the pub? Choose what you like and do it! Wake up and go out for a walk when you want, go only to those places that interest you, not adjusting to other people.
2. You don't need to wait for anyone. Each person has his own pace of life: one can get up in the morning and to freshen up for 10 minutes, while to another it will require a couple of hours. Someone who likes to arrive at the airport in advance, and to whom it is a pity to waste time when you could have time to visit a couple of museums. Traveling alone, you don't have to wait for traveling companions or nervous and in a hurry. You will be able to exist at their own pace.
3. You can fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of what is happening. When you travel with company you don't see half the interesting things, because part of your attention is absorbed by the conversation. Alone you are completely dissolve in a new place, hear and see everything. Because of this, remain far more vivid memories about the places you visited.
4. You can sort out your thoughts. Sometimes from the constant bustle of so tired that we just need to be alone, to understand yourself. Week of meditation, of concentration on the environment, unfamiliar areas and beautiful views will help to refresh the perception, and "restart" the brain.
5. It will be easier to meet new people. Staying in a hotel or hostel, sitting in a cafe with a Cup of tea or walking in the Park, you are sure to be surrounded by many people. And since you are traveling alone, you will be more open to them. Especially for those who did not just went to independent travel.
6. The journey alone will allow you to live spontaneously. Changed the bus schedule, cancelled flight, lost hotel reservations, and your plan is already not so strict. The most striking impression left by the traveler is in the moments when something goes wrong. So don't worry — perhaps on your return You will be thankful for the cancelled flight and missing your booking.
7. You will become bolder and more independent. Traveling in company, you can always count on one another. Traveling alone only you're responsible for everything. You will learn how to plan and be responsible for the consequences of their actions: booked a hotel on the wrong date or lost, this will blame themselves. And look for the solution to have their own.
8. You will learn what you can do. During solo travel you will manifest such qualities that you never knew existed. You will gain invaluable experience, meet new people and believe in yourself. And when you come back and realize what a great way will never be the same.
