House Crescent house Crescent in Japan
Crescent House – unique house built in Shizuoka (Japan). The structure, in terms reminiscent of the Crescent moon, developed by specialists of architectural Studio of Shigeru Ban Architects, known to us from previous publications.
Relief plot, which became a platform for the construction of the house, situated on a green slope in the Northern part of South Hakone, where in good weather you can see mount Fuji.
"Fortnightly" the architecture of the building is explained by the desire of customers to open scenic views of the surrounding nature and to hide from view of the houses of the neighbors nearby.
Orientation of the house determines the optimal use of natural daylight, which is unusual inhabitants of the home will be protected from too bright sunlight.
