The main feature of the novelty is a lightweight, flexible and almost transparent screen. However, it is unclear how the problem with the power supply of such a monitor will be solved. The company LD introduced an 18-inch OLED panel that can twist to a tube with a diameter of three centimeters. In such a state, the monitor of the future will retain the ability to display images.
The company plans to put on the conveyor production of 60-inch OLED panels of ultra-high resolution by 2017.
Residential interior designers are already rubbing their hands in anticipation and preparing to explain to customers why they need a TV roll in various unexpected places.
