Researchers from the Institute of Leicester (UK) intend to equip electric vehicles with special sensors to monitor the air quality, to conduct the Leicester city integrated measurement.

The Institute cooperates in this project with Cenex, an independent non-profit consulting company that will install a charging point for electric cars brand Mercedes Smart right in the campus of the Institute. In addition to use in the implementation of environmental monitoring, familiarity with the technology of electric vehicles will increase their popularity among teachers and students of this institution.
