Treatment of hypertension with leeches

Hypertension is a cardiovascular disease manifested by an increase in heartbeat, heart rhythm disturbances, uncomfortable, sometimes even painful sensations in the heart and shortness of breath.

It is difficult to say what pressure indicators should be considered a deviation from the norm. There are no stable indicators that can be guided. High blood pressure is considered to be above 140 per 90 mm Hg, but the final diagnosis is made only by a doctor after an individual medical examination and obtaining all the results.

The starting point is the patient’s pressure, at which he feels calm and comfortable.

The first digit in the pressure indicator indicates the pressure in the arteries during the contraction of the heart muscle. The second number is the pressure at the time of relaxation of the heart muscle between two contractions.

People whose blood pressure levels range from 160 to 90 mm Hg are considered at risk, and people with even higher blood pressure are considered patients with hypertension.

Treatment of hypertension through hirudotherapy

The use of leeches is recommended for the sclerotic form of hypertension, cerebrosclerosis and general cachexia. The therapeutic effect of hirudotherapy is achieved by stopping the pathological condition due to hemorrhage.

Leeches in the treatment of hypertension are put on both sides of the head, planting simultaneously two or four individuals for each ear on an imaginary line that runs at a distance of at least one centimeter from the ear shell to the scalp. This distance is due to the fact that the superficial veins are closer, which are easily damaged by the leech teeth.

The direction of leech planting is bottom-up, since it is easiest to detect the lowest point of leech planting (it is above the level of the earlobe by one centimeter). The following individuals are planted at a distance of 1-1.5 centimeters from each other along the planned vertical line.

You can also plant leeches on the tailbone, near the anus.

Bless you!
