A new algorithm developed Sriram Somani from Carnegie-Mellon. He entered into the algorithm the data for 133 000 patients who underwent treatment at the hospital in Chicago hospitals during the period from 2006 to 2011. However, the algorithm Somani still needs more work – too often there are false positives (20% of cases). Scientist hopes to reduce the number of false positives by changing the algorithm of the new data and analysis of statistics from other hospitals.
The value of the new system was unanimously acknowledged by all scholars, therefore, the development of Comanche has every chance to receive good funding, including the state.
