Creative recycling: figures from glossy magazines
Designers have found an interesting way to recycle old newspapers and magazines. Recently, it has become quite fashionable to make good, creative things from so-called “secondary materials” or, more simply, garbage. Old magazines, especially glossy, it is difficult to call garbage, but they no longer represent any value for most people after reading them.

That is why the designers used a paper knife and scissors, which together with the skills of origami allowed them to create interesting sculptures from paper. The first series of sculptures and models from magazines was devoted to insects. Creatives made several dozen colorful, bright and conspicuous butterflies, beetles, centipedes and other bugs, which in their “natural” version is unlikely to be as bright and attractive.

The designers have already dedicated the second series of their products to birds. In total, together with insects, several hundred figures were created. The creators assure that with due diligence, everyone can master something like this. The creators of paper birds and insects promised to lay out schemes for creating figurines. Now, the team is working on animals from magazines.

The designers killed two pigs with one stone. On the one hand, they created unusual and attractive accessories for the home or workplace, on the other hand, they found a great way to get rid of waste paper. Of course, after the production process, fragments of paper will remain, but nothing prevents them from being collected from being given to the processing center, experts are sure.

To create figures from magazines and newspapers, used: thin wire, glue, tape of several types. From the tools, designers used a knife for paper, a ruler, scissors. As you can see from this list, everything is easy to get in everyday life.
