Unusual art-the cloud was presented to the visitors of the festival Nuit Blanche in calgary – installation, consisting of 6,000 end-of-life incandescent lamps, inside are covered energy saving lamps CFL. Designers from Wayne Garrett have created an amazing large-scale interactive sculpture course with green overtones. The sculpture represents the cloud, collected from 6,000 burnt-out incandescent lamps. The sculpture was presented at the festival Nuit Blanche in calgary September 15 at the Olympic Plaza complex, where from 7 PM to 3 am you can get acquainted with various art projects with an environmental slant.





Began the creation of a sculpture project to collect old light bulbs. Everyone could take the bulb burned out volunteers – this is a convenient disposal. The project received a lamp from museums and historical complexes, ordinary citizens and farmers, theatres and businesses. Thanks to the involvement of the broad masses of the public project was the redefining of the concept of "recycling" and its possibilities and made it possible to create a beautiful art installation.





Once you have collected sufficient number of bulbs, the project team placed a cloud-like from the metal frame. After that, the dome of each burned out lamp mounted CFL lamp that will light up when pulling a special metallic lace.





Once the sculpture was installed in Olympic Plaza and connected the power, she gathered near a lot of visitors. People are amused that you can get under the cloud to pull the metal cord, not exactly knowing what part of the installation will be included.
