Modern house with geothermal heating
Architectural company Forestgreen Creations has built a house in the town of Pelham, Ontario, Canada. A three-level building, located in the vicinity of the ancient forest, has a contemporary compact design. One of the parts of the house rests on a metal pile forming under a covered area. Thanks to the panoramic Windows, the interior is filled with natural light during the day, and the rooms offer scenic views of nature. On the roof is a cistern for collecting rainwater, which is then used for irrigation and filling the pool. Installed in the building a geothermal heating system helps to reduce energy costs.
