Bocusini will print what we eat

3D printing is everywhere. Even in our food. Although 3D printing of food is still quite a new concept, the process will be simplified thanks to the German startup called Print2Taste.

The company is now raising money on Kickstarter to develop Bocusini printer, able to print up to 30 different types of products.

Print2Taste plans to sell the printer Bocusini and a set of open source to modernize conventional 3D printer in the printer food.

To do this, just replace the plastic extruder food extruder Bocusini – and voila: print food of different shapes.

Bocusini works like a pastry bag, adding one by one the layers of food on the plate with a heated printing head. Of course, print a Burger You still will not work. At least not yet.

On the Kickstarter page can be ordered filled capsules, or fill them at home myself, that is to create your own recipes.

We thought the six most important food categories: confectionery (chocolate, marzipan, chewing gum, soft candy, jelly), baked goods (cakes, meringues, biscuits), snacks (potato chips, spicy snacks), fruit and vegetables (all kinds of fruit purees, fruit jelly, gelatin vegetables), meat products (pâté, meat paste) and milk products (curd or yoghurt). First, we will offer pre-filled cartridges with marzipan, chocolate and sweet ground, and eventually present other on the website Bocusini.com. Of course, we encourage experimenters to create their own recipes and to fill capsules and we will help them with instructions and recommendations. So You will be able to print food as You want.

Bocusini will sell in the Junior and Pro versions in December 2015 (volume Junior – 100x100x130, Pro – 150x150x150). published

P. S. And remember, only by changing their consumption — together we change the world! ©
