Original jam of onion
Onion jam is not only original and unusual, but very tasty, so it will be a great addition to any dish. Onion jam served with fish, and toast with cheese.
You will need:
Onions clean, wash and cut into thin half-rings.
In a saucepan melt the butter, spread the onions and simmered it on low heat until then, until it becomes transparent.
Then add the thyme, coriander, salt, sugar, vinegar, wine, all carefully mix.
Once the mixture boils, lower the fire to minimum. Boiled, stirring constantly, until then, until the onion caramelize.
Ready onion jam packaged in sterilized jars, roll up lids and stored in a cool dark place. published
