The cultivation of stupidity

All Russians remember the days when they laughed at jokes Mikhail Zadornov about stupid Americans. The audience was filled with national pride because of the apparent intellectual superiority over the ignorant and degraded nation watching wrestling and eating big Macs. And that's happened to us that we despised – an epidemic of stupidity has come to Russia.

It would seem – why the state supports and tries to lower the already low intellectual level of the population, because its economic-industrial, scientific and cultural progress depends on the condition of the minds of the citizens? Why directly to the epoch when the inhabitants of the planet were so many means and opportunities for education and creativity, we see this stream of stupidity in movies, online and on TV?





But let us examine everything on the shelves.

First accept the simple fact – Yes, people don't like to think. Brains is in some degree the labor cost energy, and to strain people are too lazy. The nervous tension in the head causes fatigue and discomfort. And so instead of reading intelligent books and useful creation is better to sit in front of the TV or on the Internet.

Ignorance and capitalism go hand in hand. The Soviet Union went the other way – people tried to fully form, was created one of the best at the time education systems, the Soviet people was one of the most popular in the world (read, however, everything voraciously, but that's another story), children actively sought to enter into a mug for radio technicians, designers, etc. However, developing education of the USSR have cut a bough on which sat. Educated and developed people did not believe seriously in the idea of communism, and at the right time opposed the existing regime.

The capitalists understood well that a stupid man is much more useful for the government. He's not going to rebel, when on TV is his favorite show. Although it can be made to hate the government, showing her imaginary or real crimes via the Internet and pumping up the right emotions, but the global network also sooner or later take control.

How is this implemented in practice?

Of particular importance is the opinion of "authorities" appearing in the media – actors, athletes, politicians, TV presenters: if all the time to listen to them, you won't have to work on compiling their own opinions.

2) Everyman must think strictly estimated. The evaluations must be categorical, straightforward: this is good and this is evil; this good and this is bad; it's white and it's black – no middle ground, no gray shades and tones.

Comedy programs (as well as funny pictures and videos, and "statements" on the Internet) take the lion's share of leisure of inhabitants. However, this humor does not require mental effort, mostly it's flat (as for children), or went-toilet-obscene (as an option – "cynical", but also stupid). The best humor for citizens, the so-called "hysterical" — when some inappropriate action that does not require reflection, causes a reaction of laughter.

4) To minimize the habit of thinking the aim of diverse entertainment 50 channels of television in every home, all kinds of shows, shopping malls, bars, clubs and cafes alcohol. What would people do – the main thing not to interfere.

I hope no one will argue that the "House-2", transmission TNT, TV shows and music videos, as well as by clicking the mouse in search of rzhaka or sexual discharge on the Internet well, does not develop intelligence, but on the contrary – the overwhelming desire brains.

Stupidity, sexual behavior, aggression, and outrageousness is glorified in television shows and comedies. It clearly demonstrates how it is fun and cool to be stupid and inadequate. The freak gets all the attention. The most frequent way in the TV show is hysterical, whimsical, Grebnoy on his head man that behaves in a deliberately shocking and requires attention. These freaks often want to imitate the youth – in order also to be "not such (Oh) as all" special, popular. But this "selection from the gray mass" often lies in inadequate behavior, bizarre appearance and strange manners, but not in mental abilities. And, of course, in order to "not be like everyone else", the townsfolk spent a lot of money to buy exclusive clothes, accessories, gadgets and other stuff (which, in fact, the industry and aims).

5) Another propagation trend – hatred and contempt for others (including, incidentally, for their "stupidity"). It boosts the desire to stand out, gaining more status things. The more individuals despise and seek to humiliate each other, the more they buy, in order to assert themselves. Others must see you as a source of personal self-satisfaction (in all senses of the word).

6) Citizen implicitly taught that the meaning of his life – in a demonstration of self-importance and a constant receipt of the doping of pleasure (through the consumption of, viewing shows and shopping).

Be cool and buy more. Privoznosish and get more buzz. Chicks, booze, cars, clubs, take everything from life – that's your motto. The triumph of the CDA, and an inexhaustible flow of endorphins.

7) the Media should be encouraged and developed in the consumers of those emotions and qualities that will help manufacturers of different products and services well to be welded.
For example:
— Greed, greed, desire for freebies;
— A sense of superiority, self-centeredness, narcissism, arrogance.
— Aggression, desire to dominate;
— The sexual instinct, the desire to look attractive;
— The desire to stand out, to be special, not like everyone else;
— The desire to be fashionable, to be "in trend", to keep up with life, often to change clothes and update things.

Such emotion and desire in ancient cultures is considered to be low, and I would agree with that. People whose heads are clogged like that, all of often resemble a pack of gnawing animals than civilized society. Hence we get separated, indifferent, cruel to each other as fellow citizens.

8) the Ultimate goal of the media – even the not so stupefying through entertainment, but also forming of the consumer.

The ideal consumer should be confident in their uniqueness, to be selfish and narcissistic. His "I" and the wishlist should be at the center of his universe. Encouraged not logical and emotional attitude. Man's desires must overshadow his actual needs. People tend to teach much to want new things even when they have no practical need.

Ideal weight – one that will not consider the call, and immediately go to buy, in obedience to his desires. published
