India bans soap and powder testing on animals

Another victory is celebrated by PETA activists, animal rights activists and all concerned citizens of India. A law has come into force banning the testing of soap and other detergents on animals.

In 2014, India banned the testing of cosmetics on animals and the importation of cosmetic products tested on our smaller brothers.

Experiments in zoology and natural science courses are also prohibited. If an animal experiment is prescribed in the curriculum, the required knowledge and skills should be applied using computer models.

These positive decisions would not have been possible without the support of caring people who actively protest against violence against animals, spreading information and organizing actions. For example, in Delhi staged a bright action against experiments on animals.

Activists staged a theatrical performance on the streets of the city to demonstrate the inhuman abuse of experimental animals in laboratories in India and around the world.

P.S. And remember, just changing our consumption – together we change the world!
